Washing Instructions for Your Signature Wig
Keeping your Signature Wig in top condition is easy with the right care. Follow these steps to maintain its beauty and longevity:
Step 1: Gently Detangle
- Use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb out any tangles, starting from the ends and working your way up.
Step 2: Prepare Water
- Fill a sink with cool to lukewarm water and immerse the wig completely.
Step 3: Add Shampoo
- Add a capful of shampoo specially formulated for synthetic hair or sulphate-free shampoo to the water.
Step 4: Clean the Wig
- Swish the wig gently in the water, moving it from side to side and dunking it up and down until it is clean. Avoid rubbing the hair together as this can encourage tangling.
Step 5: Rinse Thoroughly
- Rinse the wig thoroughly with cool water until all the lather has been rinsed out and the water runs clear.
Step 6: Condition (Optional)
- If desired, apply a conditioner formulated for synthetic hair, focusing on the ends. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
Step 7: Remove Excess Water
- Gently squeeze out any excess water without wringing or twisting the wig.
Step 8: Air Dry
- Place the wig on a wig stand or a towel to air dry naturally. Avoid using a hair dryer or exposing the wig to direct heat.

Little to No Hair: If you have very little or no hair, flatten any remaining hair and use a wig cap to create a smooth surface and protect your scalp. The wig cap will help keep everything neat and secure.
Short Hair: Flatten your short hair against your head and apply a wig cap to create a smooth surface and protect your scalp. This will also help keep your wig securely in place.
Medium to Long Length Hair: Braid or cornrow your medium to long hair and pin it up towards the nape of your neck. Use styling gel where necessary to control any stray hairs. Apply a wig cap over your styled hair to protect your scalp and ensure a smooth, secure base.
READY FOR DREAM HAIR?
Position the wig on your head and pull it forward to align it with your natural hairline. Ensure that all your hair is tucked underneath and not visible. Adjust the straps if necessary to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.
THE FINISHING TOUCHES
Once your wig is in place, carefully trim the lace along your natural hairline. Leave about 3mm of lace to blend seamlessly for a natural look.

- Blend Perfectly: Use a makeup brush or sponge to apply a bit of foundation to the lace for a flawless blend.
- Matte Finish: Finish with a small amount of matte powder to achieve an au-natural look.
- Reduce Shine: Spritz a bit of dry shampoo to dull any excess shine on the wig.
- Secure Your Look: For extra security, apply a small amount of wig glue or adhesive along the lace-front to keep your wig perfectly in place from desk to dancefloor.
